13. In Search of a True Friend - A journey.

In this weary world where everything’s amiss,
Which makes people yearn, even for a kiss,
In this journey of life, which we walk more or less,
We need a friend to drive away loneliness.

It’s a friend you need, who shall help you heed,
To the finer points of the worlds title deed.
A friend is a must, a person needs,
At least one, when the harsh world kneads.

For without a friend, a mummy would do,
For mummies are dead,
And without one,
You’d be too.

Its fun to be with an ally,
Let it be Kate moss, or Sally,
Friends always think for your own good,
And some will lay down their lives for you, if they should.

True, such friends are a real hard find,
The ones with rare and beautiful mind,
The ones who’d do anything for you,
They really don’t care how much they hurt, and who.

The friend mentioned in the lines above,
Should you manage to find somehow,
Do hold on, Cause if not, they too shall be gone,
And you’d be left at the start, right where you belong.

True friends are the rarest things to come along,
They help you dance, they help you sing a song,
And if depression overcomes you,
They’ll be there to help you see through.

Such are the advantages of a true friend,
Who help you to score, who help you defend,
So why not yourself, a true friend to some one be?
And set an example for the aeons to see.

Just wanting to Compose.
